Music for life caters for adults and children and follows a goal orientated client approach which can can focus on but is not limited to:
- Developing communication and extending language
- Encouraging social interaction
- Facilitating self-expression and building confidence
- Supporting emotional and spiritual growth
- Promoting memory and intellectual development
- Motivating movement and physical co-ordination
- Reducing agitation, stress and tension
- Helping people manage anger
- Helping control pain
Prices and common fees

Music therapist fees are similar to occupational therapists, speech therapists and other specialists within the Health sector:
Individual sessions $75 Group sessions $95 Contract rate $60/per hr for set half or full days |
Sessions run for 30 to 45 minutes and prices cover the additional cost of preparation for the session and the write up of clinical documentation afterwards.
